I, like many of the other reviewers, have been dealing with chronic sleep issues for years.
I heard about the SR1 device on Ben Greenfield’s podcast by chance. I was desperate for a good nights sleep, without taking medications, supplements, etc. I’ve been using the device for three weeks and I am happy to report that my sleep has improved dramatically. While I think it should be stressed that good sleep hygiene is absolutely a priority; drinking too much caffeine during the day, alcohol in the evening, and not taking steps to quiet the mind, will still work against you.
When using the device, I seem to move from stage 1 or 2 sleep to stage 3 or 4 much easier. The deeper sleep leaves me feeling refreshed and allows me to get up quicker without hitting the snooze button repeatedly in the morning. My job is high stress and demands a high level of critical thinking. Having a great night sleep has changed my game. Michael Lares has been great with communication regarding the device, and I do not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants to take charge of their sleep and wellbeing.
I wanted to address the cost of the device. $499 is a drop in the bucket in comparison to all of the supplements that I have purchased over the years to try to sleep. You should view it as an investment into your long term health, because without a good night sleep everything else suffers. I hope you won’t skimp on that.
